Getcleed (also branded Cleed) and MultiFollow both show up when you search for Linkedin sales signals. They do not do the same job.
Getcleed is an AI prospecting agent: it discovers ICP-fit people, watches LinkedIn buying signals, scores them, and drafts outreach for you to review. MultiFollow is a named watchlist: you paste Linkedin and X (Twitter) profile URLs you already care about, and you get anonymous near-real-time alerts when those accounts post, comment, or (on Linkedin people) like — delivered by email, Slack, or API webhooks into Clay, n8n, Zapier, or your CRM.
We build MultiFollow, so you should know that up front. This is not a "rip out Getcleed" post. If you need discovery, intent scoring, and first-draft messages in one place, Getcleed is shaped for that. If you already have a list and need infrastructure that pings your team the moment Elena comments on a competitor thread, MultiFollow is the layer for that. They overlap on "Linkedin activity signals." Everything else is a different product.
Most teams land on this comparison after one of two weeks.
Week A (discovery-first). An SDR does not have a clean named list yet. They want a system that finds people who look like buyers, notices hiring/funding/pain language on LinkedIn, ranks who to contact first, and hands them a draft message. That is Getcleed's pitch: watch the market, find a reason to buy, prepare the outreach before the CRM opens.
Week B (watchlist-first). Priya already knows the 25 accounts in play this quarter. Maya already InMailed Elena last month. The problem is not finding Elena. The problem is that Elena's 2:04pm comment — "We're looking at replacing our WMS before Q4" — never reaches #signals-outbound while the thread is still warm. That is MultiFollow's job: instrument a list you already chose.
If you confuse those weeks, you buy the wrong shape. Discovery + drafts will not give you a seconds-level webhook feed of a named person's comments. A watchlist will not invent net-new prospects or write your Linkedin messages.
Getcleed / Cleed is an AI sales prospecting product at getcleed.com. Per their site and comparison posts, it monitors LinkedIn-focused buying signals (posts, comments, reactions, company activity, plus funding, hiring, leadership changes, competitor mentions, and pain signals in their marketing), discovers prospects (they describe Apollo-scale contact data via integration), scores them, and generates AI emails / LinkedIn messages for review. They state messages are not auto-sent. Branding uses both Getcleed and Cleed; we use both here.
MultiFollow is anonymous real-time tracking of Linkedin and X account activity as sales signals. You paste profile URLs (or CSV-import on Business+). Tracking does not follow or connect; they are never notified.
A sales signal here means a public event that suggests someone may be ready to talk: a post about a problem you solve, a comment on a competitor's pricing thread, a reply on X about "replacing our stack." Job changes and funding rounds are also sales signals — just different kinds. MultiFollow tracks what named accounts say and react to on Linkedin and X. It does not track job changes, funding, or hiring news as first-class events.
Named watchlist vs prospect discovery. A watchlist starts with URLs you already chose. Discovery starts with an ICP description and finds people you may not have known. Getcleed is discovery-first. MultiFollow is watchlist-only.
A webhook. A URL that receives a POST when something happens. On MultiFollow Business+, each tracker can send JSON (platform, profile URL, timestamp, link, post/comment text, activity type) to Slack, Clay, n8n, Zapier, Make, or a CRM. Email works on every plan.
Strip the slogans and Getcleed (Cleed) is roughly four things, based on their public site and their own vs-Trigify / vs-Clay / vs-Apollo posts:
Integrations they list publicly include HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio, Notion, Folk, Lemlist; Clay via webhook; Slack; REST API on Pro. They advertise a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
Platforms: LinkedIn-focused for social. Their Trigify comparison states Cleed does not monitor X/Twitter. If Elena's late-night X reply is part of your motion, Getcleed alone will not see it.
Pricing (handle carefully): Getcleed's public numbers are messy across sources as of September 2026. Meta/marketing has used "from $29/mo"; their comparison posts publish Starter around $39/mo (100 prospects scored) and Pro around $89/mo (1,000 scored, custom signals, daily auto-rescore, API); the live pricing page is JS-rendered and has also shown Pro nearer $99 with an Unlimited tier. Do not treat any single screenshot as gospel. Self-serve plans sit roughly in the $29–$99/month band depending on which public page you read — check getcleed.com/pricing for the current number. The unit of value is scored prospects and outreach prep, not flat "N Linkedin trackers."
Pick Getcleed when the bottleneck is "who should we talk to, and what do we say," not "ping Slack the second this known VP comments."
MultiFollow does one unglamorous job well: watch accounts you name, anonymously, and push activity out of the Linkedin UI.
| Target | Activity |
|---|---|
| Linkedin person | Posts, comments, likes |
| Linkedin company / showcase | Posts only (not company comments or likes) |
| X (Twitter) person or company | Posts + replies. Not likes (private since 2024) |
What we do not track: job changes, follower counts, engagement-audience scraping (who liked an arbitrary viral post), Facebook / Instagram / TikTok / YouTube, built-in enrichment or intent scoring, native HubSpot / Salesforce apps, InMail, Boolean people search, or TeamLink. We do not discover net-new prospects. We do not draft outreach.
Filters: up to 10 include and 10 exclude keywords per tracker (each 2–200 characters). Keywords apply to posts and comments, not likes (likes have no text).
Delivery: email on every plan. Slack + API webhooks on Business and above, including per-tracker Slack/webhook URLs so prospects and competitors do not land in the same Clay table.
Freshness: paid plans are near real-time (typically seconds after detection, up to about a minute if congested). Free is best-effort.
| Plan | Price | Linkedin + X trackers | Delivery extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 + 2 | Email; best-effort |
| Essential | $19/mo | 5 + 10 | Near real-time; email only |
| Business | $79/mo | 25 + 50 | Slack, API webhooks, bulk CSV, team |
| Enterprise | $199/mo | 100 + 200 | Same + advanced support |
| Agency | Custom | Multi-client | Custom |

Competitor features and prices as published on Getcleed's site and comparison posts in 2026; their live pricing page can disagree with older blog tables. Always re-check before you buy.
Those products overlap on "I care about Linkedin activity as a buying signal." They do not overlap on discovery, scoring, message drafting, X coverage, or anonymous seconds-level watchlist webhooks.
Named people below are fictional. The timings are the point.
Elena Voss, VP of Operations at Northline Logistics, is already on Maya's Q3 account list. At 2:04pm she comments on Dockwise's pricing post:
"We're looking at replacing our WMS before Q4. The receiving module is the deal-breaker. Anyone actually happy with theirs after go-live?"
If the team only runs Getcleed: Elena may already be a scored prospect if discovery or an imported list caught her earlier. The comment may raise her score and produce a draft message. What you may not get — unless you have also built a watchlist-style pipe elsewhere — is a shared Slack ping at 2:04pm that the whole pod reads while the thread is still empty of vendors. Getcleed's strength is ranking and drafting; it is not marketed as MultiFollow-style anonymous per-profile webhook infrastructure.
If Maya's team is on MultiFollow Business: Elena's Linkedin person URL is a tracker (posts, comments, likes). At 2:04pm #signals-outbound shows the comment text and link. Maya replies on the thread at 2:11pm, then sends a short InMail from Sales Navigator that quotes Elena's own sentence. MultiFollow did not write the InMail. It made the sentence visible in time.
Daniel Okonkwo, Head of Supply Chain Systems at Harborline Retail, likes a post titled "Warehouse labor is 18% of our cost and climbing." Nobody on Maya's team has him saved.
Getcleed's shape: if Daniel matches the ICP and the reaction counts as a buying signal in their model, discovery + scoring can surface him with a reason and a draft. That is exactly the "find prospects with a reason to buy" job.
MultiFollow's shape: useless here. We never invent Daniel. We only watch URLs you paste. Do not buy MultiFollow hoping it will mine engagement audiences or invent net-new ICP matches. That is Getcleed's (or Trigify's audience-scraping) territory, not ours.
Competitor company page posts at 9:10am, 1:40pm, and 5:55pm.
On MultiFollow, a company-page tracker covers posts only. Each post can still fire its own email/Slack/webhook. Include keywords like pricing, receiving, hiring keep the culture fluff out.
Getcleed may treat competitor / company activity and hiring as buying or competitive signals inside a scored prospect workflow — different output (ranked outreach prep) than a raw post feed into #battles-dockwise.
"honestly drowning in Excel for yard management. if your WMS vendor says 'we do yards' ask them to show the Saturday shift, not the demo."
Getcleed is LinkedIn-only for social per their Trigify comparison. That reply does not exist there.
MultiFollow tracks X posts and replies (not likes). Add Elena's X URL with include keywords WMS, yard, Excel, replacing. Wednesday morning Tom does not "discover" this — it was already in Slack at 9:41pm.
If you need both Linkedin discovery drafts and X replies on named people, that is often Getcleed + MultiFollow, not either/or.
Fictional team: Maya (AE), Tom (SDR), Priya (manager). Warehouse software. Tuesday-afternoon reply culture.
Priya defines ICP in Getcleed: VP / Head of Operations or Supply Chain at 200–5,000 employee logistics / wholesale in DACH + UK. They run the 7-day trial, score a first batch, and review AI drafts. Job-change / hiring / funding signals that Getcleed surfaces stay in that workflow — MultiFollow will not catch employment changes.
Alternatively (or additionally), build the named list in Sales Navigator search and save leads. We already wrote how that pairs with a watchlist: Sales Navigator vs Linkedin Activity Tracking.
Do not paste 1,000 scored prospects into MultiFollow. Paste the 25 people Tom and Maya will actually work this month — Linkedin person URLs, plus X URLs when the prospect is loud there, plus Dockwise / Northline company pages if competitor and account posts matter.
On Elena/Daniel trackers include: WMS, warehouse, receiving, yard, labor, RFP, looking for, replace, pricing. Exclude: webinar, podcast, congrats, happy to announce.
Keywords do not filter likes. Plan for that.
Paid refresh is near real-time. Do not pilot reply-first selling on Free and conclude "signals are slow."
The Slack/Clay row is not the outreach. Maya still comments publicly, sends InMail from Sales Navigator or email from the sequencer, and — if Getcleed drafted a message for a newly scored lead — edits that draft instead of starting from a blank page. MultiFollow never replaces the send button.
Saying this clearly is more useful than a feature grid.
If your motion is "find buyers and get a first draft," start with Getcleed (or keep it). If your motion is "here are the 25 people in play — ping us when they speak," that is MultiFollow.
Only for the narrow slice where both care about Linkedin activity on people you care about. MultiFollow does not discover prospects, score them, or write outreach. If those are why you opened Getcleed, we are the wrong replacement. If you opened Getcleed and realized you mostly needed a webhook feed of a known list, we are the closer fit.
Per Getcleed's own Trigify comparison, Cleed is LinkedIn-only for social. MultiFollow tracks X posts and replies (not likes).
No. We do not follow, connect, or message them. They are not notified. That is different from following someone on Linkedin from your company account.
Yes. A common stack: Getcleed (or Sales Navigator) for discovery and drafts; MultiFollow for near-real-time watchlist alerts on the shortlist; Clay / n8n / Zapier for enrichment and routing. Both can feed the same ops layer without fighting each other.
Pilot on Free ($0, 1 Linkedin + 2 X, best-effort email). Solo near-real-time email: Essential ($19, 5 + 10). Team Slack, Clay/n8n webhooks, CSV bulk import, shared access: Business ($79, 25 + 50) or Enterprise ($199, 100 + 200). Plans are prorated.
No. We deliver the activity event. Your AE, sequencer, or Clay/AI column writes the message.
No. Getcleed markets those signal types. MultiFollow tracks posts, comments, and likes (with the platform limits above). For Sales Navigator's job-change alerts on saved leads, keep Sales Navigator.
Email on every plan. Slack and API webhooks on Business+. Per-tracker destinations are supported so one account can split prospects vs competitors. See also our posts on Slack notifications and API webhooks.
Getcleed (Cleed) is an AI prospecting agent: discover, score, draft. MultiFollow is anonymous watchlist infrastructure: paste URLs, get Linkedin + X activity into email/Slack/webhooks while the conversation is still live.
Choose Getcleed when you need buyers you do not already have and a first message to edit. Choose MultiFollow when you already know the accounts and need reply-first delivery. Use both when discovery and watchlist instrumentation are both real jobs on the same team — they usually are.
If the watchlist half fits, create a free account at dash.multifollow.io, add one high-value Linkedin profile, and wait until they post or comment. No credit card on Free. When the email lands and the motion is real, move to Essential or Business and point Slack or Clay at the same trackers.
